If you are a beginner or haven’t sailed for a long time then this is the course to join. Over 16 hours you are introduced to basic navigation and safety procedures. This RYA navigation course complements the RYA Competent Crew practical course.

RYA Day Skipper Theory

Interested in becoming a cruising skipper? This comprehensive course will give you the knowledge required to safely sail a small yacht in familiar waters by day. It is designed to be taken prior to the RYA Day Skipper practical course so you can put your knowledge into action with our RYA instructors on hand.
